Friday Night Pizza
Learn all the steps in making authentic Sicilian and Neapolitan pizzas. Make and shape the dough, make the tomato sauce, then bake in our hearth oven. These two classic pizzas are quite different. Sicilian is a very hydrated dough that is similar to ciabatta or focaccia. The thicker crust is baked in a pan and has an open honeycomb structure. The Neapolitan pizza is thin-crusted, with a simple dough made of flour, water, salt and yeast. Both are delicious! At the end of class, enjoy your creations with a glass of wine. You will also go home with a goody bag of bread.
